About the Author
Beckie Karras is a music therapist who specialized in gerontology. She worked for 17 years as an activities coordinator and music therapist in Maryland nursing homes and as a contract music therapist to nursing homes, adult daycare centers, and retirement facilities in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. She has written more than 20 activity books, including The Amen Corner, Roses in December: Music Sessions with Older Adults, Everyday Life Trivia, Finishing Lines, Finishing Lyrics, and Say It With Music.
